It is time to recognize professionals who make organ, eye, and tissue donation possible. Thousands of lives are saved or greatly improved through donation each year. More than 1.2 million Utahns have registered to donate; yet, when the time comes, families need the support of professionals to see those wishes carried out. Through the gift of donation, life will go on.
Every day, law enforcement officers save lives through the donation process. In every hospital, hospice and healthcare facility across the state, professionals care for patients and their families. They talk to families about difficult issues and ease their pain. Funeral Home Directors, while caring for their families offer the opportunity of donation, answer questions and help facilitate donations. The "Yes" Utah Award program honors those who support, encourage, and promote organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Award recipients will receive a certificate of accomplishment and a "Yes" Utah clock & pen gift set. To nominate a Utah professional for a "Yes" Utah Award, click here. To view our winners, visit the View Winners page.
